Kanye West leads the 2012 BET Awards nominations with seven, including two Video of the Year nods for The Throne’s “N****as in Paris” and "Otis." Beyoncé scored six nods, while hubby Jay-Z earned five noms. Big Sean got three nominations, including Best Male Hip Hop Artist, where he will square off against Drake, J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Young Jeezy. The 2012 BET Awards air live on July 1st from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj will perform on the big show.
